Discover the joy of owning a horse. Our 5 Day Camp offers horse lovers ages 8 to 16 the opportunity to groom, ride, and care for a horse especially chosen for them.
Beginning and Advanced Class Sessions will be offered this year.

Camps are held weekly from June through August (Maximum of 6 students per session) . The daily schedule is 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Hillside Training Stables Summer Camp 2011 "T" shirts will be available at a cost of $15.00.
Extended Day Care is available from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM at a cost of $10.00 per hour. Campers should bring their own lunch, swimsuit and towel if they wish to swim in the pool.
ADVANCED SESSION REQUIREMENTS: Must have taken the Beginner Class at least two times AND must be at least 10 years of age (proof of age will be required). Prior experience from a location other than Hillside Training Stables may be acceptable. Contact Kathy at the Stables to see if you qualify. If a week cannot be filled, the session is subject to either being split Beginner/Advanced or will convert to a Beginner Session. That decision will be made by Kathy at the time of camp registration. Please be flexible in your available dates as we will try to get all the advanced camp requests filled in the same week.
Since the class size is limited to only 6 students, classes fill early. Please send in your reservation as soon as possible to guarantee your preference. If we are unable to place you in a class of your choice and another one is not convenient, a full refund will be mailed to you. NOTE: Beginner and Advanced Sessions may be interchangeable depending on availability of campers.

NEW!! "Fun With Horses" For Ages 5 to 8
Learn the joys of horsemanship in this 3 Hour, 5 Day camp for the younger Horse Lover.
Campers will learn the basics of taking care of a horse and riding them safely. With a small class ratio of 4 children per session and two instructors, the campers will be able to fully enjoy these wonderful horses in a safe and quiet environment.
Daily horse projects, crafts and a midday snack are included in this program. Safety skills, grooming, riding lessons and horse care will be taught. No reading is required.
Campers decorate a photoframe for a keepsake picture of themselves and their horse. Hillside Training Stable Summer Camp 2011 "T" Shirts will also be available for a cost of $15.00.
Camp cost and schedule is listed above. Sorry, no sibling discounts available for this camp, however, if you have one camper signed up for the older camp and one for this camp you can receive a discount for your older camper.
